What's Happening in Chicago

So everyone keeps asking me "what are you guys up to?" the answer is not too much! We are looking for jobs and in the mean time - waiting, waiting, waiting. It really hasn't been that long... but you can only hang out for so long before you get bored! Ask Max and Iggy!!

I had an interview with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois on Friday and am waiting to hear if I got the job or not. It would be cool because it's only a couple of blocks away and the job itself would be a great learning experience - a bulking up of the ol' resume!! Forrest has some good leads with a company here in "The Loop"

there has been the prerequisite of snow and more snow!!

This last time it actually got onto our balcony!

Now that this round has finally melted we are bracing for the next snowfall. You know it really isn't that bad. It gets cold here but as long as your dressed for it and you watch your step - you're ok!!

we did splurge just a little and bought a small fish tank. We just can't do without one - fish make us happy!

we are still waiting for our couch and it should be here by mid-March (cross your fingers). This is a picture of frozen Lake Michigan from my lovely desk. You can also see the condos that we look into.... maybe I will get bored enough to get some binoculars! Who knows!;-)
